Tourist Information for the Independent Traveller
As well as he three windmills up on the hill in Yalikavak, there’s also a beautiful example of one by the Harbour. It’s been fully renovated, and you can go inside and climb around.
It was built in 1859, and was originally used to mill wheat and barley. After years of being abandoned, it was renovated in 2005, and opened up to the public.
