Introduction to Küçükbuk
Küçükbuk, which translates to “Small Bay”, lives up to it’s name. Even though there aren’t a lot of amenities here besides a selection of small pensions, eateries and a few shops, Gündoğan is only about a couple of kilometres away, where there are more shops, restaurants and amenities within easy reach.
Location
- Küçükbuk is a small blip of a village situated between Gündoğan and Hebil Koy, and is part of the Gündoğan municipality.
Getting There
- If you follow the road around from Gündoğan Bay, Küçükbuk is the next small bay you’ll come to.
- Turn off the main road, and follow the hill down into Küçükbuk
- If you’re staying in Gündoğan, a trip to Küçükbuk is an enjoyable excursion off the beaten track.
- It’s close enough to walk to, especially during the cooler parts of the day. But it’s also on the Gündoğan to Göl-Türkbükü dolmuş route, and you’ll be there in 5 minutes.
Things to do
- There’s a small beach, Düzgün beach, that’s a worthy place for chilling out, and there’s a decent selection of restaurants and cafe’s to eat at.
- You won’t find many European tourists here. During my Sunday visit, the beach and restaurants looked to be frequented by mainly locals and visiting Turkish tourists.
Local Restaurants
- Sacide Abla
