Can you help me decide whether to stay in Gumusluk or Yalikavak please? Are the Yalikavak restaurants less expensive but as good as those in Gumusluk? Advice appreciated.
Gillian
There’s plenty of restaurants in both places – that range from expensive seafood restaurants to inexpensive local Turkish cuisine at the Lokantas. So I wouldn’t base your decision for a location based on the restaurant selection.
These two places are very different. Gumusluk is a small location with a harbour, beach and village area – and Yalikavak is much larger and has more shops, a bigger harbour, marina and a larger weekly market. There’s definitely more to do in Yalikavak, but I prefer the calm of Gumusluk.

Many thanks for your speedy & helpful reply. Reassuring to know that there are good, reasonably priced restaurants in Gumusluk.
