Too Windy to Windsurf:

Turkish Bath

Fish Dinner in Gümüşlük

Two kilometres from Kadikalesi is the peaceful village of Gümüşlük, which is one of the oldest settlements on the Bodrum peninsula.  This location is reknowned for their selection of ocean-front fish restaurants, making it a popular destination for visiting Turks and Tourists.

After dinner, enjoy a stroll along the enchanting lane of market stalls selling all kinds of handmade crafts and jewellery.

Canoe Kadikalesi

If it’s too windy to windsurf, that doesn’t mean you can’t still get out on the water.  Why not hire a canoe and venture out onto the small waves in Kadikalesi.

Hike to Karakaya

Visit Karakaya.  This is an enchanting little village on the top of the hill near to Gümüşlük, where all the buildings are made from local stone and were originally built to protect the inhabitants from raiding pirates.  There’s a wonderful public BBQ area on the way.

Visit Ephesus

Day trip to Ephesus. Don’t miss this amazing ancient city.
