Sue blog, suemtravels, is a fabulous collection of narratives and photos. She’s a lady after my own heart. As well as discovering the following Bodrum Sights, she loves wandering around the local markets. Here’s what she has to say about the one’s she discovered on the Bodrum Peninsula:

Like farmer’s markets Turkish bazaars (pazars) are open-air shops where local villagers sell their goods. Items sold range from fresh organic fruit and vegetables, spices, cheeses, and olives to fabrics, imitation Gucci handbags, and fake Rolex watches.

Even if you don’t buy anything, soaking in the atmosphere and mingling with the Turkish people is a fantastic experience! Each day of the week, there’s a bazaar in a different village on the Bodrum Peninsula.

I picked up on her travels when a Google Alert about her trip to the Bodrum Peninsula popped up in my mailbox, and over the past couple of weeks I’ve shared a number of guest blog articles which are summarized in this Top 5 list below. If you’re looking for Itinerary inspiration, this list of Bodrum Sights will give you plenty to consider. Some are within Bodrum Town itself, and others are further afield.
