Day trip on the Siesta Boat

It was a perfect day for a boat trip from Bitez, and the three of us booked passage on the Siesta Boat.  We joined the 9 other passengers (and the Captain) for a deliciously chilled day out along the southern coastline of the Bodrum Peninsula. Here’s some of the sights and scenery we encountered along the way.

I spent most of the day on the roof deck, enjoying the sun and a quiet read, but I put my book down long enough, to pick up my camera and capture the day and it’s sights.

We all had a fabulous day out aboard the Siesta. The weather was gorgeous, and because there was a light wind we were able to raise the sail and cut the engines, which made for a tranquil ride.

We sailed along the southern coastline, stopping at various bays along the way for snorkel and meal breaks. Lunch was delicious, a delectable assortment of Turkish meze, followed by BBQ and salad.

Highly, highly recommended.
