Brutus and Cassius in MyndusMyndus (the ancient name for Gümüşlük) is mentioned in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.
The story goes that Brutus and Cassius, the principal knife-wielders in Caesar’s murder kept their fleet in the harbour of Myndus in the civil war that followed.
