Palamut Beach, Turgutreis

Drive South out of Turgutreis, and you’ll pass the Marina, and then Sabanci Park, both on your right.  A few turns where Gazi Mustafa Kemal Blvd and Turgut Ozal Cd. converge, you’ll reach Palamut Beach.  It’s about 4.5km from the Town Centre of Turgutreis.

You get a great view of the group of islands off the coast, and this is a great place to enjoy a stunning sunset, but it can get a little windy along this coastline, because it’s quite exposed.  This location is ideal for a stroll along the beach at sunset, and then enjoying an ice cold Efes on the beach or from the Jetty. You can order drinks from the Golden Beach Hotel Resort, although not all of the beach is serviced by this resort.

This location is great if you want to get out of Turgutreis, but there are some quieter and more secluded bays a little bit further south, either side of Akyarlar.
