Hanedan Turkish Bath, Turgutreis

Turgutreis Turkish Bath Bodrum Peninsula

Updated August 2015: The Website for the Turkish Bath is no longer available. I thought it may have closed down, but a comment from Hazel in August 2015 has confirmed it’s still open. (Thank’s Hazel!)Turgutreis Turkish Bath Bodrum Peninsula

Located in central Turgutreis, the Hanedan Hamam is the only independant Hamam in town. They have tried to create the athmosphere of a traditional turkish bath with a modern look and quality.

As well as the traditional Turkey Bath, they also have a sauna and their house barber.

There’s also a couple of resort hotels who offer spa services, including a Turkish Bath: La Blanche Resort & Spa and the Mandalinci Hotel, which are both located in the western part of town near the beach. The Mandala Spa is located in the Aegean Dreams resort and is located just a little bit further up the coastline towards Kadikalesi.

  1. We went there today 22nd August and it was open.
It’s was really quiet just us and a Turkish man in there. It cost 170 lira for a Turkish Bath and massage for me and my son which was good value considering the time they spent on us. It is a little run down but if you walk straight up the road from Bar Street for about 5 mins it is easy enough to find.
