The Farilya Website is no longer available and their Facebook Page has been inactive since June 2014, so I’m not sure if this place is still operating.Farilya Stables Farm Life Cabin and Restaurant

They also have log cabins available, for overnight accommodation.

Hello, Me and my family will be visiting Gundogan soon for two weeks. I wonder if it is possible for a child, 10 years old, to participate in the one hour route? She has some horseriding experience. I also wonder if you have helmets and what your routes costs.
Best regards, Annica Eld, Sweden
Hi Annica — I’ve added in the cost of the horse riding lessons and for the trek into the article. It looks like the one hour trek would be perfect for your daughter. It’s just a walk through the pine forests, and is designed for beginners.
Hi Jay, Farilya Stables is now under the new and competent management of Murat and Aylin. They have made many improvements. Wonderful food. Here’s their facebook link: http://www.facebook.com/groups/319724498096708/#!/pages/Farilya-At-%C3%87iftli%C4%9Fi-Farilya-Stables-Farmlife-Cabins-Restaurant/111906362235754
Leslie — thanks for the heads-up on the updated information – and the link to the great photo’s over on their Facebook page. Looks like they’re also serving organic food in their restaurant.
I’ve updated my article with the relevant information — thanks, Jay

Horse riding looks fun and enjoyable but it is a skillful job. For a smooth ride, both horse and the rider need to strike the right balance. It is important for a rider to follow a horse’s motion and stay in balance, if not you will end up gripping the horse with your thighs, clinging on to him by holding their calves etc. if this creates some unbalance in the horse’s motions, his ability to turn would get affected.
Hi there,
My sister and I are coming to Turkey on the 14th October and are staying in Torba.
