  1. Our ship arrives at 10 pm (night time)on Tuesday and we (4 womem) would like to have a hamam in Bodrum. Do you have the phone number of Bardakçı Hamam so we can find out if they will take us so late? thank you

  2. Hi we are coming to Gumbet for a holiday in June. We have been looking at the boat ride from Bodrum to Kos. Would you be able to tell me if we would need to take our passports and would we need euros as well as the Turkish lira? Thank you so much hope you can get back in touch. And any other advice would be much appreciated. Louise.

    1. Hello Louise – thanks for your message. Yes you will need passports to travel between Turkey and Greece and Euros. The good think about Turkey is that they accept Lira and Euros (and many places also accept Dollars and British Pounds.)

The fast catamaran to Kos takes about 15 minutes, and the slow ferry takes about 30 minutes … but you need to factor is the passport control in both directions.

      thanks, Jay

  3. Hi Jay,
We are about to rent a sailing yacht from the Turgutreis Marina, saturday early afternoon.
We would like to know if it is possible to rent a round a stand up paddle for one week.
    Thanks for your help.

  4. Hi,
I love reading your site, just wondering if you have any idea about the following, I have read that dogs can only fly into Bodrum on a domestic flight, I am planning to bring my dog from Amsterdam direct to Bodrum is it allowed
    Thank You
    Valerie
