Basic but Essential
So maybe the Milas-Bodrum flight notification isn’t the slickest interface I’ve ever seen, but it definately has it’s uses It’s especially useful if you’re traveling to the airport to pick up a friend or family member. Let me share our little hindsight-story:
Our Snafu
On our second trip to the Bodrum Peninsula, we drove over an hour to pick a friend up at the airport. We didn’t think to check the arriving-flight status, and were very disgruntled to discover the Thomas Cook flight from Manchester was delayed by 4 hours.
There was no way we were going to hang around the Airport for that length of time. We didn’t want to go home either. Instead, we headed for nearby Güllük, to wander around the bay and enjoy dinner at one of the harbour-side restaurants.
Avoid our Snafu
It was an enjoyable side-trip, but if you want to time your airport arrangements with a little bit more finesse that us, you can use one of these links on the Bodrum Airport website.
