Introduction
Karaincir Beach (Kara-incir translates to Black Fig), is a small village resort about 16km from Bodrum. It’s bordered with makeshift restaurants, and there’s also multiple wooden jetties over the water.
Karaincir’s proximity to Aspat Hill and Koca Point, means it has a buffer on both sides from the off-shore winds. It’s nestled in the corner of this cove, making it an ideal sheltered cove for swimming.
Getting There
Head east out of Akyarlar, and the first bay you’ll reach (after about a 5 minute drive) is Karaincir, which is a broad sandy beach, about 500 metres long.
Keep going East, past Karaincir, and you’ll reach Aspat and up the Aspat Hill are the remnants and old city walls of Çifik Castle.
